About DODECYL TRIMETHYL AMMONIUM CHLORIDE

This quaternary surfactant, dodecyl trimethyl ammonium chloride, has antibacterial effects. It is available as a 98% pure powder that dissolves in water with a transparent to almost clear color. As a paint remover, foam stabilizer, and lotion with antibacterial properties, this chemical compound is helpful. It serves as an anti-static agent and catalyst in the manufacture of coatings, plastics, paints, rubber, and ink. It can micelles in aqueous solution because it is a cationic alkyltrimethylammonium chloride surfactant. For denaturing proteins, it is mostly employed.
