Phase Transfer Catalysts

Phase Transfer Catalysts are instrumental in transforming anions of inorganic salts into organic solvents and also to restore these salts into water phase by conducting chemical reactions under controlled environment. Also referred as PTC or heterogeneous catalysts, these chemicals contain ionic reactants that express their water solubility during aqueous phase, although these remain insoluble during their organic phase when there is no phase transfer catalysts. Presence of these chemicals can improve reaction rate which in turn saves production cost. Produced under controlled temperature, this array of Phase Transfer Catalysts has been checked on the basis of their chemical properties, molar mass, storage life, composition, possible toxin content, catalytic attributes etc. Offered PTC chemicals can be availed in different composition based choices to meet exact phase transferring needs of different chemical reactions. These chemicals can be stored for specific duration if these are placed away from direct sunlight, air and moisture.
